Since he was 13 he has done a lot of community service from park cleaning, serving food, delivering thanksgiving baskets every year and also coaching a kids basketball team in a summer league. Mr. Brown was brought up in a house where giving back was expected. His mom an previous leader in his hometown's NAACP made sure he knew the importance of giving back. In the Summer of 2012 Mr. Brown completed over 75 hours of community service with the Hamilton Hill arts center. He served by helping kids from all ages work on homework, projects, and also music. This was a very eye opening experience for Mr. Brown and he learned a lot about the importance of guidance in certain children's lives.
